MIKAYLA PHIPPS

Mikayla joined IP Partnership after graduating from Bond University with a Bachelor of Laws degree with honours, she completed the postgraduate GDLP program with IP Partnership and was admitted as a Solicitor in February 2022.

Mikayla is creative and loves the ideation behind a brand and the creation of a business’ digital marketing strategy. This is what lead her to IP Partnership, as she has a passion to work closely with businesses to help them protect and leverage their Intellectual Property. Mikayla is a commercial lawyer and acts for Franchisors, Franchisees, Lessors and small to medium business owners with business purchases and sales and contract drafting. She takes an active approach to ensure she understands her client’s objective and has become an integral part of the firm.

Outside of work, Mikayla loves spending time outdoors. Originally, she grew up as a 5th generation rancher in Canada, riding horses and working cattle. Mikayla still embraces the agricultural lifestyle but these days, you can find her enjoying the hinterland, beaches and all the good restaurants the Gold Coast has to offer.
