Sam was admitted as a solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court in 2013 after he was awarded a Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Training (PLT) from Bond University where he also achieved specialist certificates in Intellectual Property and Information, Technology and E-Commerce.
Sam sits on the board of advisors for the Office of the Franchise Mediation Advisor (OFMA) Board and has attended numerous mediations representing both Franchisor and Franchisee Clients.
Sam joined IP Partnership (formerly Ivan Poole Lawyers) in 2013 where the firm shared his focus and passion for intellectual property and commercialisation of intellectual property.
Sam has developed particular expertise in the area of trade mark enforcement and defending Client's Intellectual Property rights. Sam values the good relationships he has with Clients and his strength is his commercial approach to legal drafting and advice. Sam's area of expertise include Intellectual portfolio property management, strategy and ongoing support for new Franchisors, preperation of Franchise Documentation, corporate structuring and Intellectual Property protection and management and registratiion of Security Interests on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR).
Outside of law Sam is an active outdoor person. Come weekends you will find him either surfing, riding his much loved Harley Davidson or at Burleigh Heads with his wife and even more loved Staffordshire Bullterrier puppy named 'Bleu'.
