Eric Yarascavitch

Law Clerk

Eric is currently a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies candidate.  He started his legal journey by completing the Court and Tribunal Agent Diploma at Durham College in 2009.  After that, he attended the University of Ontario Institute of Technology until 2012 and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a major in Criminology and Justice.  During these studies, he sat the Law Society of Ontario's licensing examination and received a Class P1 Paralegal Licence in 2011. 

Upon graduation in 2012, Eric worked at several law firms including Legal Aid Ontario, in the legal fields of provincial offences, family, criminal, refugee, and immigration law.  He also pursued a career in music which spills over into his passion for intellectual property.  As a postgraduate student, Eric attended Bond University achieving a Juris Doctor Distinction Class 1 with a specialisation in International Business and Finance Law.

He joined IP Partnership as a legal intern in May 2020 during his studies at Bond.  Since then, Eric climbed the corporate ladder from intern to PLT student, then legal administration and finally solidified the vital role of a law clerk.  He is witty, humble and an intellectual property enthusiast who is willing and able to assist in any matter from commercial law to copyright and trade marks.

Eric is currently sitting his National Committee on Accreditation exams.  Upon completion he will be eligible to sit the November 2021 Law Society of Ontario Solicitor and Barrister exams in Canada.
